Hey there!
Who Am I?
I’m Daniela Kinsella, also known as The Coach Dani—a Brazilian mom of eight living in beautiful West Cork, Ireland. Volleyball has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and in 2024 I turned that passion into a mission: to share the joy of the game with children, families, and communities here in West Cork.
I’m the founder and coach of West Cork Volleyball Club, and I also run school programs that introduce kids to the basics of volleyball in a fun and engaging way. For me, volleyball is more than just a sport—it’s a tool for connection, teamwork, and confidence-building.
Between family life, coaching, and building new projects, I wear many hats—but at the heart of it all, I’m a mom who loves to inspire others through sport.

About Me
Hi, I’m Daniela Kinsella — a Brazilian solo mom of eight, author, volleyball coach, and the founder of West Cork Volleyball Club and Coach Mom.
Life has not always been easy, and through many difficult seasons I experienced incredible love, support, and kindness from people around me. Those experiences changed me deeply and inspired me to create something meaningful within my own community.
As a Christian mom, my faith has carried me through some of the hardest moments of my life, and it has taught me the importance of resilience, compassion, encouragement, and showing up for others. Today, my goal is to use everything I have learned to positively impact the children and teenagers around me.
Through volleyball, school programmes, camps, coaching, and community projects, I want young people to feel seen, supported, included, and capable of achieving more than they believe possible. I believe sport can help build confidence, friendships, discipline, and emotional strength — especially for children who may be struggling quietly.
Alongside raising my children and building my business, I continue to write and share my journey in the hope of encouraging others who may be walking through difficult times themselves.
Everything I do comes from a desire to give back the same love, hope, and support that helped me keep going when life felt overwhelming.
